bjciii: My twisted thoughts

Well I haven’t tried to upgrade this site again… yet. I’ll be reading up on multi-version upgrades this weekend so I don’t hose the site again. Let this be a lesson to you folks out there in cyber-land: Even people you THINK are geniuses at computers are just normal human beings. I screw up just as much as you do (although it’s on a different scale… when I do it, the site dies!).

So Drew killed a pigeon yesterday. We were driving up to Citizens Bank Ballpark in Philadelphia when BANG Drew hit a pigeon with the car. It wasn’t his fault as he wasn’t aiming at it, but the damn thing flew into the road and we hit the bastard going about 70. There’s a nice, softball-sized, dent in the hood and (before the rain at least) a little smear of fluid heading up towards the windshield. It was a very interesting remainder of the ride as Phile was telling Drew he was a marked man in the pigeon community now.

Beth was awesome enough to put “Special Welcomes” up for me, Phile, Drew, & Jay so everyone saw them throughout the park. It felt really cool to be a dignitary for the day! That girl rocks. She also heckled the hell out of Comcast security when they were worthless in breaking up a fight in the parking-lot. Lord… that was funny too.

So I’ve got two weddings this weekend and I haven’t bought anything for either yet. I think I’m going to do the BJC3 Special Wedding Gift and grab some gift-cards. I’m a guy, I can get away with that. As soon as I get a steady girlfriend then I’ll have to put more thought into things (or have her do it), but until then I can revel in my masculinity!

Well other than that I have to work tonight and MAYBE attend a bachelorette party for a friend of mine (I was specifically invited for drinks, so I’m not crashing). Here’s hoping it’s an early night!
